Muscat municipality with partnership with the private sector to develop al Wutayya commercial area
To promote ties of partnership with the private sector, Muscat municipality held today a joint meeting with owners and landlords of al Wutayya commercial area to discuss chances of developing the area. During the meeting, the company Parsons International for Engineering Consultancy, a visual presentation on a project of developing the surrounding urban area of al Wutayya commercial area.
The presentation explained about the technical plans for the exploitation of the region and its development in terms of public attitudes, the rehabilitation of entrances and exits of the roads, and corridors, and aesthetic touches to the area, in addition to the implementation of a number of utilities and other services consistent with the urban character of the city, for the benefit of commercial enterprises to the list, and visitors of the area alike.
During the meeting landlords and specialists have discussed their comments regarding the projects and gave their feedback, it was agreed to form a joint working group between the municipality of Muscat and landlords to work together on detailed proposals discussed and debated, and visioning to implementation.
