Muscat Municipality participates in the World Cities Summit Mayors Forum in Singapore
Muscat Municipality has sent a delegation to Singapore to participate in the World Cities Summit Mayors Forum under the theme "Sustainable Cities to Live: Embracing the Future through Innovation and Cooperation" during the period of (8-12 July). The forum aims to discuss recent economical and environmental challenges facing urban cities and to exchange recent trends that deal with such challenges.
The delegation representing Muscat Municipality includes the engineer Khalifa bin Nasir as`Siyabi the manager of project directorate in Muscat Municipality. Mr. Khalifa has reviewed Muscat governorate experience in urban planing during the past few decades.
The forum that is organised annually will host about 160 cities from all over the world, which makes it an important platform to exchange experiences and to develop the foundations of management opportunities and challenges, with community participation for all issues facing urban development.
