As`Sarin bridge in al Amirat is now opened to traffic

Muscat Municipality announced that As`Sarin bridge in al Amirat is now opened to traffic after completion of all necessary maintenance. The Municipality has announced earlier of closing the bridge after it has been affected by the weather conditions that hit the Sulatanate time ago.
Director of the Department of technical studies the engineer Attayib Mohammed Al Harthi explained that works included strengthening the soil under the foundations of the bridge by injecting the cavities with a type of concrete especially designed and tested for this purpose.
Al Harthy added that maintenance under the bridge is in the final steps taking into account that traffic above is not affected at all, and that all service has been made according to international safe standards.
