Training of Trainers of Muscat Municipality High Command

The human resources directorate of Muscat Municipality implements during the current period a training program entitled (Training of trainer TOT) targeting the senior leadership of the municipality with the aim of transferring training knowledge and skills to them and enable them to design a skill-based content.

The programme has focused on presentation skills and the ability to persuade and influence; as one of the most important skills that a leader would need. Such leadership would be capable of  providing a positive image of the organization through the knowledge that they convey to employees directly.

In another aspect, professional training has been also covered. Participants have been introduced  the basics of the presentations, and the best methods and strategies for persuasion and influence, in addition to the use of a leadership strategy for the future which review the guidelines in the presentations, and malpractices that need to be taken into account to avoid falling in  mistakes.

The idea of this training programme has stemmed from the municipality desire to prepare staff with high capabilities of leadership, and to become easier for them to deliver the message of municipal work.
