Muscat Municipality Inaugurates The Administrative Divisions Of The Service Directorates In The Five Wilayahs Of Muscat

Muscat Municipality has introduced the administrative divisions approved for the Directorates General of Muscat Municipality in the five wilayahs (Grand Mutrah, Bausher, as`Seeb, Qurayyat and al Amirat) based on the royal decree number (38/2015) on issuing the law of Muscat Municipality and the Royal Decree No. (39/ 2015) approving the organizational structure of Muscat municipality.
The administrative division of Bousher, Seeb, and al Amirat municipality includes three departments, namely: the customer service center, the coordination and follow-up department, in addition to the communication department. All these departments follow the Director-General. However, Qurayyat and Grand Mutrah municipalities has an additional department namely; East of Qurayyat & East of Grand Mutrah. Those two departments have been introduced due to the similar geographical nature of both regions.
The administrative division of all directorates includes; an urban inspection department, administrative and Financial Affairs department, Technical Affairs department, Health Affairs and legal follow up departments. All the Directorate General of Muscat Municipality in the five wilayahs refers to the assistant of Muscat Municipality`s chairman for the general services. They are capable of developing and implementing policies, plans and regulations.
