Muscat municipality celebrates the Omani Woman Day

Muscat Municipality celebrated the Omani women`s day which coincides on October 17th of each year, in recognition of women`s effort in Municipal field and to assists their national role in the sustainable development.
Muscat Municipality will organise tomorrow (Thursday) a seminar on the role of Omani women at work" presented by Dr. Fatima al Ajmi, Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services and a member of the municipal council. Dr. Fatima will talk about the role of Omani women in the field of municipal work, and will shed light on their efforts contributed in the development.
Statistics show that the number of female Omani women working in Muscat Municipality are 390 in different areas administrative and technical. 166 of which occupy administrative positions, while 99 are in technical field. In the Health Sector there are 43 and 62 in financial function, and another 20 in differenet areas.
