The Community Partnership Department of Muscat Municipality organised a programme called "Awareness Majlis" with mothers of the students of Mutrah Basic School (1-4) to talk about the effects of tobacco use and its impact on the individual, the family and the community,
This project in implemented in partnership with the Directorate General of education in Muscat with the aim deliver the message of municipal work to school students.
The idea of the programme "Awareness Majlis" aims to build a link between the municipality, school and society; to introduce them the common practices and behaviors that relate to Municipal work, and will continue its awareness programmes until the end of next December.
