Muscat Municipality Celebrates the 48th National Day Occasion

Muscat Municipality celebrated the glorious National Day 48th under the patronage of H.E eng. Mohsin al Sheikh head of Muscat Municipality in the presence of a number of Excellencies, Sheikhs and dignitaries. The ceremony was organised by the Directorate General of Muscat Municipality in Bousher in partnership with other municipal units.
The ceremony included a variety of programmes expressing the joy of Omani people on this glorious occasion. A scout band started the ceremony with playing the National Anthem, then Mr. Mohammed al Abri Director General of the Directorate General of Muscat Municipality in Bousher gave the Municipality word on this occasion.
In his word Al Abri expressed the pride of Bousher directorate to host the celebration of this glorious day under the collaborative efforts supporting the directorate, and taking into account H.E`s directions and the work of its qualified cadre. Al Abri said that adopting the principle of partnership with the community is a unique characteristic of the relationship emphasized by His Majesty the supreme commander when dealing with his people.
Poets Hamoud bin Wahqa and Hassan al Baloushi director of Muscat Festival department gave some poems expressing love to the motherland, highlighting the peaceful coexistence under the wise leadership of H.M the Sultan Qaboos.
Aside of the celebration, H.E. eng Mohsin al Sheikh opened an exhibition for Omani crafts organised by the Directorate General of Muscat Municipality in Bousher.
