Muscat Municipality raids a house in Ruwi exploited for carrying out unauthorized commercial activity

The urban inspection department of Muscat Municipality in Grand Mutrah, in collaboration with Royal Oman Police and Public Prosecution, seized expatriate workers in Ruwi were exploiting a residential home for manufacturing upholstery furniture without a municipal license.
The Municipality confiscated many sewing machines and other tools as a result which were put randomly inside and outside the house in a way that lacks any safety requirement. Muscat Municipality emphasizes that it will intensify its field inspection campaigns in the governorate to maintain that health and municipal requirements are met.
It also calls on the community to contact the communications center of Muscat Municipality (1111) or through the media accounts of the Municipality on social networking sites or communicate with the directorates of Muscat Municipality for any similar observations.
