In cooperation with the Tansnim Enterprises Company, Muscat Municipality in al Amirat builds a walkway in al Muhaj area
As an attempt to promote partnership with the private sector, Muscat Municipality and Al Tasnim Enterprises company completed about 75% of l Muhaj walkway in al Amirat. The project was a result of the magnificent support given by the Tansnim company in completing it.
The company created the 1700 m long & 4 m wide walkway which has two lanes used for both walking and cycling. The walkway is made by using a strong concrete base that can resist erosion caused by water. From its side the Municipality installed 59 lighting poles to light up the path at night. The project aims to promote people to practice walking and cycling and was chosen due to the fact that al Amirat has no beaches like other wilayahs.
