Muscat Municipality continues phase 3 of its journey towards e-transformation.

     Directorate general of Human resources continues the training programme "Document and electronic document management system". The programme is held in collaboration with Directorate General of Information Technology and the Documents Department in the Office of H.E head of Muscat Municipality during 10-21 February 2019. This stage of the programme which is the 3rd is devoted to managing tasks electronically, where participants will learn how to manage tasks through viewing, directing and commenting on inbox items.
     Director of human resources development in Muscat Municipality Sultan al Shaei said that Muscat Municipality has started working on e-transformation long time ago, and it won many awards in this field. He added "to keep pace with Oman`s Vision 2040, the Municipality sought to make 2019 an electronic year, minimizing the use of paper and inks”. He also added "the first in digital transformation were taken in cooperation with the National Records and Archives Authority, and the first training programme was held in September last year".
     Suleiman as`Suleimi a participant in the programme praised this step towards e-transformation. "It will save much more time and efforts when dealing with documents" Suleiman said, and added "We have been very pleased with the project of electronic documents and document management system in Muscat Municipality".
