Muscat Municipality hosts an exhibition of calligraphy "Iktishaf al Hibr"

In cooperation with the Omani French Centre, Beit Al-Baranda of Muscat Municipality hosts an exhibition entitled "Ikitishaf al Hibr" / "discovering the Ink" with the participation of calligraphy artist Abdu al-Aziz al Muqbali and the French artist Geraldine. The exhibition lasts 18 - 28 Feb 2019 and is driven by Muscat Municipality`s pursuit to highlight the cultural aspects the support tourism sector in the Sultanate.
The exhibition includes 33 water-colored paintings, 10 of which are made by the French artist Geraldine featuring of the nature of Oman and inspired by its diverse geography, where some paintings are a shared collection of both artists Geraldine and Abdu al-Aziz al Muqbali.
Artist Abdu al-Aziz al Muqbali participated with 13 paintings where he used a blend of art with a free font that doesn`t depend on specific rules, but rather on certain techniques in drawing.
