Muscat Municipality takes part in the 7th Smart Green Spaces Middle East summit

Muscat Municipality participates in the 7th Annual Middle East Forum for Smart Green Spaces held on March 18-19 in Dubai. The forum will host specialists in the field of urban planning, discussing the strategic challenges addressing issues of urban dominance and green landscapes.
Dr. Hanan al Jabriyya, who is in charge of Strategic Planning Department in Muscat Municipality, will give a lecture entitled “Re-imaging urban public places”, through which she will review the most important challenges of public places in the Gulf region and in the world, highlighting also the challenges experienced by these places in the past centuries.
The Forum will also shed light on issues addressing urban dominance like urban design and planning, sustainable infrastructure for future changes, and innovative landscape design for smart cities.
Fair to mention that this forum is sponsored by 20 leading companies and will host 40 experts in urban planning and green landscapes and is attended by about 400 officials and engineers interested in this field.
