Muscat municipality: The central market is ready for the Holy month of Ramadhan
• About (1541) shipments loading more than (38525) tons of vegetables and fruits
• Extending working hours in the market with wholesale and retail stores.
• Intensifying inspection campaigns to warehouses, and food establishments.
The central market administration declared that the market is ready for Rhmadhan. Companies have prepared for this season early by increasing the number of shipments to the market to meet the needs of local consumers. Muscat Municipality on the other hand has intensified inspection and destroyed about 268 tons of rotten fruits and vegetables. New entrances and exits to the market were also created.
The central market has also extended the working hours during Ramadhan. The new timing will start at 4:30 a.m. until 2 in the afternoon, whereas wholesales will start at 6 am till 5 in the afternoon.
