Muscat Municipality works on the results suggested by the consultative study to assess its technical system.
- Inaugurating 115 e-services with easy access.
- Change Management, Process Re-engineering, human competency development and client satisfaction are among the most important supporting aspects of the technical transformation.
The study focused mainly on the technical system of the municipality and proposed many recommendations to implement. The assessment has been based on two domains; analyzing the current system, suggesting recommendations and supervising the implementation of recommendations. While the second domain includes the preparation of the strategic plan of the Directorate General of Information Technology, the preparation of the electronic guide to the technical services.
The study has recommended Muscat Municipality to implement some projects and programmes, one of which is formulating objectives and indicators of the performance of the services, the project consolidation of tools and mechanisms, development of procedures with documentation of the current procedure digitally
