A delegation from Muscat Municipality Headed by H.E chairman of Muscat Municipality took part in the World Cities Summit 2019 in Medell?n in Colombia themed "Livable and Sustainable Cities: Building a High Trust City.
The annual World Cities Summit Mayors Forum is an exclusive, by-invitation-only global platform for mayors and city leaders to discuss pressing urban challenges and share the best practices. The sessions will include case study presentations by mayors and sharing by senior representatives of international organisations and industry players.
Engineer Khalifa as’Siyabi and Dr. Hanan al Jabriyya accompanied H.E Mohsin ash’Sheikh to the summit. Dr. Hanan Al-Jabriya, who is the acting director of the Strategic Planning Department wrote the phrase "Friendship and Peace - Muscat, Oman" in Arabic as a contribution from Muscat Municipality to commemorate this experience.
