Muscat Municipality in Grand Mutrah plays a vibrant role to operate the important wilayah of Mutrah where the al Alam Palace and the traditional souk of Mutrah exist. In 2018, Muscat Municipality in Mutrah has maintained about 600 meters of streets and paved about 2000 meters square car park. For the lighting services, the Municipality installed about 88 lighting poles along 3300 meters of streets. About 22357 lease contracts were registered by the Municipality in 2018, of which 2833 have been made electronically.
