The central market of fruits and vegetables has urged merchants to increase and intensify direct import of fruits and vegetables from countries of origin such as Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Iran, India, Pakistan, South Africa, China, Vietnam, and Thailand. Companies were also asked to increase the number of shipments at this time to meet the needs of local consumers at such an important occasion Eid al Dha.
The total number of shipments arrived the market from were (2466) loaded with (49.320) tons of vegetables and fruits. Operation hours will start on Thursday August 8 to 11, and working hours will start at four o`clock in the morning until eleven o`clock at night, noting that it will out of service during the first two days of Eid.
