Muscat Municipality Tree Day

The media department of Muscat Municipality and the Directorate General of landscaping and parks together with the Health Affairs and the Omani women association carried out an awareness workshop on the occasion of Omani Tree Day. The workshop was entitled "A house garden free of insects and rodents" and was intended to raise the environmental awareness of the importance of plants and landscaping and how to take care of trees.
The workshop has also included a variety of events, lectures and education and awareness programmes provided by a number of specialists from Muscat Municipality. Participants had the chance to roam in a small exhibition watching different tools and methods to combat rodents and pests.
