Muscat Municipality and Ooredoo on a joint campaign to clean Sur Al Hadi beach in Seeb

Coinciding with the International Volunteer Day, Muscat Municipality and the Omani Qatari telecommunications company (Ooredoo) implemented a clean up campaign to Sur Al Hadid beach in the Wilaya of Seeb.
The campaign has involved students of Manr Al Ilm basic school (5-9) and the kindergarten children of the airport security of ROP, besides some employees from the Ooredoo company and their children, along representatives of Al Shura Council, and officials form Muscat Municipality in Seeb.
The campaign was an attempt to activate partnership between Muscat Municipality with the local community and institutions on issues of environmental preservation. Director General of Muscat Municipality in Seeb gave a word familiarizing students of Manar al Ilm basic school with the importance of giving, and creating an environmentally responsible generation towards the environment. He also emphasized the campaigns which promote positive environmental behavior.
Muscat Municipality cherishes such campaigns and expresses its gratitude to partners and sponsors who made the campaign successful, particularly the Omani Qatari telecommunications company (Ooredoo) for its initiative.
