Muscat Municipality: Work hours in Customers service halls are limited to the morning period

Muscat Municipality announced that work hours in customer service halls in all municipal directorates will be in limited to the morning period only starting from January 1st 2020.
Director of service development Department Mr. Yasir al Battashi said that this decision was made after the success being made by adopting modern technologies in providing municipal services and due to that decreasing number of visitors appealing in municipal customer service halls.
Al Battashi added "The Kaizen methodology was adopted by Muscat Municipality as an attempt to minimise operational costs and to facilitate procedures" and he continued "It has resulted in more time saved when carrying out municipal procedures than before".
It is worth mentioning that this procedure stems from Muscat Municipality pursuit towards improving working environment and upgrading of municipal services.
