The vehicle tracking system adopted by Muscat Municipality represented by the General Directorate of Transportation has achieved positive results through the total control of vehicles in all its stages, and this was represented in reducing the cost of vehicle operating expenses, saving fuel consumption and other results related to vehicle and driver safety. High-level technical services that enable tracking and tracking of all vehicles, to know the most accurate details of their whereabouts, reduce their expenses, as well as significantly raise the level of productivity, in addition to improving safety conditions for driver discipline, and the General Directorate of Transportation has completed the implementation of the third phase of the tracking project Vehicles, which covered (403) vehicles, including (109) light vehicles, and (294) heavy vehicles.
