In line with the regulatory procedures and health guidelines approved by the Supreme Committee in charge of following up developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid 19), and in coordination with other relevant authorities, the Central Market for vegetables and fruits will resume operation starting from Monday evening June 8 th 2020. Whereas wholesale trade will be from 10 pm until 6 am. The process of customs clearance and refrigerators inspection will be carried out by customs officials and agricultural quarantine will be at the logistical city or border crossings. Refrigerators that have passed the examination will be permitted to enter, provided that proof of this is presented at the entrance to the market (final customs release), and it will be granted a period (24 hours) only for unloading the goods. As for local producers, they must register their full data on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (electronic services - request to market local vegetables and fruits products in the Muwalih central market).
