Muscat Municipality deals with 8,147 reports in three months



Hotline recorded reports are the highest  

41798 calls are inquiries and suggestions  

Street lighting malfunctions reports are the most common


    
The number of communications that the Contact Center of Muscat Municipality dealt with was in the past three months was (8147), March registered the highest with (3513) reports, and the least recorded in May with only (2326) reports. All reports were received either though the Call Centre (1111) or though social media platforms and Baladiyeti app.

Incoming calls and types:
According to the statistics, the toll-free number of Muscat contact centre recorded the highest with (6139) reports, whereas Twitter platform registered about (1717) and Baladiyeti app had (291) communications during the same period. However, in three months, Muscat Contact Centre received about 41,798 calls, the highest were in March with 15,649 incoming calls, 13,129 were answered and 2565 were lost.

Distribution of reports to the directorates:
As`Seeb directorate recorded the highest number of reports received 933, then comes the directorate general of projects with 712 in the same month. For April, most of the calls were directed to the projects directorate 577 reports, then as`Seeb directorate 430, then Bosher 335. The highest number of reports received by the directorate general for projects was in May, with 607 reports ranging from inquiries, proposals, communications and complaints.

Street lighting malfunctions reports are the highest reports 506, and 265 are related to violations of the decisions of the Supreme Committee, then 71 on food safety, whereas health requirements had less with only 26 reports.
As for May, street lighting malfunctions reports are the top as well, with (543) reports, then violations of the Supreme Committee on Covid-19 decisions about (357), and then (68) communications associated with food safety, and last on vehicle accidents which recorded (24) reports.
