Within the pursuit to shift into electronic services, and after the shutdown of customer service halls, Muscat Municipality launches a new package of online services at www.mm.gov.om.
Basic and subsidiary services:
The basic services on-site are divided into three types (leases, Municipal Licences and technical licences).
The contracts service branches into:
Individual lease registration
Registration of a lease for a company
Registration of a new lease for a lessor (individual or agent)
Registration of a new lease for a lessor (agent, company)
Registration of an investment contract (sub-lease)
Cancellation of a lease.
1- Amendment of a lease (amendment of rental value, extension of period, ext.).
Licensing services branch out:
1- Request for a new municipal licence.
2- Request to cancel a municipal licence.
3- Modify a licence - add an activity
4- Cancelling a licence.
The third type of basic services, licensing services:
1- Building permit.
2- Application for a building completion certificate, without electricity – water connections.
3- Application for a building completion certificate with electricity – water connections.

In the field of health sector services, the inspection and Food Control Departments of the directorates in all Muscat have achieved a steady development in planning their campaigns, which emphasized their vital role in making food establishments in Muscat Governorate cautious in terms of compliance with health requirements.
