Mutrah Fish Market to Reopen with The Following Health Requirements
Following the decision to reopen Mutrah fish market, Muscat Municipality has issued the following health measures that vendors and visitors have to comply with.
The regulation stipulates that only one entry and one exit will be used in the market, and that entry of people not wearing face masks and gloves, and with body temperature more than (37.5) degrees is denied. Inside the market, people are urged to stay at least 1.5 metre away from others and not to touch fish.
The capacity of the market has been also determined; where the number of visitors will not exceed a maximum of 30% of the market normal capacity. Workers and vendors in the market are required to arrange unused display tables to put a distance between vendors and cutters and to clean display counters frequently and to ensure proper ventilation in the market and its facilities.
