Sanad Service Centres Facilitate Municipal Services Electronically

Muscat Municipality is constantly working to facilitate provision of electronic services, whether those targeting the business environment, individuals, as well as government and private institutions. The e services cover many areas including business, health services, and technical services. Sanad service offices were established by the municipalities to offer beneficiaries an easy and quick access to municipal services.

Service outlets:

Beneficiaries in Muscat can rely on many methods to accomplish municipal services, including; the website, Baladiety application on smartphones, consultancy offices. The e-services provided by Muscat Municipality to beneficiaries include services in the business sector, such as obtaining or renewal rental contracts, municipal licences, parking permits, renewal and payment of tickets, registration in the Muscat Municipality supplier register, request for quotations forms. Other technical services include dealing with building and construction permits, installation of sunshades outside the boundaries of the land plot, drilling or cutting asphalt roads to deliver service lines.
 

Enabling Sanad services:

This interest was translated in 2017 with Muscat Municipality signed an agreement with Rafd fund to provide municipal services through Sanad Service offices; to complete Municipal transactions electronically without asking beneficiaries to visit customer service halls of Muscat Municipality.
It is worth to mention that municipal services provided through Sanad centres have demonstrated the ability of these centres to deal with the municipal systems and requirements, which has significantly simplified procedures for customers and saved their times.
