Reopening The Central Market for Vegetables and Fruits to Consumers

Muscat Municipality reopened the Central Market for consumers from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. Consumers can enter the market from Gate 2. Whereas for wholesale trade from 5:00 to 11:00 AM and that entry is according to the current system, from Gate No. 1 for chiller lorries and trucks weighing (3 tons) & above.

Muscat Municipality still urge consumers to adhere to the following preventive measures:

- Entry is limited to people aged 12 years and above.
- A maximum of two people are allowed in each vehicle.
- Make sure to wear a face mask when entering the market, and while moving inside.
- Practice and encourage physical distancing.
