Muscat Municipality arranged on Wednesday a hygiene campaign under the slogan "your environment is responsibility" in cooperation with Muscat Gas Company in the Seeb Beach area, with the support a number of volunteer, media and activists.
The campaign aimed to establish environmental awareness among members of the community and the importance of effective partnership in the field of environmental conservation, care of Natural Resources and tourist sites, including beaches and public places such as visitors and visitors, and to stopped doing unacceptable behaviors of dumping waste and staying at beaches and tourist sites.
The compaign events involved cleaning the green areas and sandy areas along the beach from all waste, and harmful plants, and keeping them in their designated places. Many social media influencers participate in the campaign such asSaif Al fouri, Hafiz Ja`boub, Sulaiman Awlad Thani, Awad al Hashemi, Dr. Ahmed Murad and Mazen Al Wahaibi.
Muscat Municipality always focusing on these initiatives to strengthening the active citizenship in the society to keep the natural acquisitions and protect the environment. Also to increase loyalty in the society regard the environment problems .And making sure to maintain the environment clean and throw away all trash with a right way. The municipality always encourages the society to participate in those campaign to keep beaches and public places clean.
