Muscat Municipality has completed its proactive measures to receive Eid al-Adha while considering the precautions set to halt further spread of COVID-19 in its slaughterhouses in Muscat. The online system was intended to reduce gatherings and overcrowding in both slaughterhouses in Seeb and Al-Amrat, and has put in place an appropriate mechanism regulating the receipt and delivery of sacrifices, where it began the application of the system of pre-booking of private sacrifices of individuals effective Wednesday, 14 July 2021 until Sunday, 18 July 2021. Individuals wishing to take a sacrifice can go directly to the slaughterhouses from 7am to 12pm or from 3 to 4:30 pm, and delivery began from Thursday, July 15, 2021 to Monday, July 19, 2021, where delivery is carried out in the morning only from 7: 30 am to 12: 00 pm.
