Muscat Municipality confirmed the readiness to deal with the potential effects that could be caused by the tropical cyclone Shaheen. Many task forces from all service sectors will be deployed across Muscat Governorate, equipped with necessary machines to help proper reinstatement of the damages that could be caused to infrastructure. The field teams will also intensify clean-up operation to drains and water crossings to make sure all roads are open to traffic. The Municipal call centre (1111) will also work around the clock to receive communications in any emergencies.
