Municipal Clean-up Initiative in Muscat Comes to an End

Within its ongoing efforts to preserve the environment and its resources, the Community Partnership Department of Muscat Municipality finished the extensive field clean-up campaigns covering all the wilayahs of Muscat Governorate.
The one-month-long initiative covered a number of beaches in Muscat, namely Al Bustan Beach, Al Hail North Beach, Qurayyat Coast beach, North Al Ghubra Beach, and al Amirat dam. The information and awareness department of Muscat Municipality will carry out such initiatives constantly to spread environmental awareness among the local community, and urging them to give hands with municipal efforts to mitigate the negative effects and phenomena on the environmental and health levels.
