Muscat Governorate Celebrates the Arab Town Day



On this day every year March 15th, the Arab cities celebrate the anniversary of the Arab Town Organization, which was founded on March 15, 1967 and headquarters in Kuwait City. The organization has formed an umbrella to address all matters of urban planning and common issues plaguing Arab towns.

The municipal sectors of Muscat governorate have worked magnificently to crown the capital Muscat as the Arab Digital Capital for the year 2022, through the provision of sustainable and digital services that keep pace with Oman`s future aspirations.
The Sultanate of Oman, represented by Muscat Governorate, celebrates with Arab cities day every year; to continue its implementing and monitoring its plans that seek a single goal based on the sustainability of urban planning efforts in all fields, and to find flexibility in dealing with the requirements for the digital revolution, which emphasizes the importance of communications and information technology for sustainable economic growth and development in the areas of development projects and programs at the provincial level in the Sultanate of Oman.
