Muscat Municipality Carries On Inspection Campaigns

Muscat Municipality in Al-Amirat has intensified its control and regulatory efforts to enhance the community services provided in line with the current population growth and urban expansion in the wilayah. In January 2022, the municipality carried out 223 inspection visits covering 500 commercial activities, laundries, barber shops, hairdressing, beauty centres, hotels, shisha cafés, health clubs and fitness centres. While in February, (311) visits carried out and resulted in confiscating (2070) kg of rotten food unfit for human consumption and issued about 61technical violations.
Muscat Municipality calls for the solidarity of the community as individuals and institutions; to cooperate in the preservation of services and facilities, and to avoid environmental and health practices that pose a challenge to municipal work.
