Muscat Municipality Begins Phase One of the Golden Jubilee Walkway Project
Muscat Municipality began the first phase constructing the Golden Jubilee Walkway that is located in Seeb region. The project is to construct a 1972-metre-long pedestrian walkway accompanied by a bicycle path. The walkway will be 5 to 6.5 m wide and the bicycle path will be 3 metres.
The project will also construct three squares PLAZA for rest; equipped with sunshades, restrooms, cafés, entertainment and picnic elements, all implemented by investing local companies. There will also be two sites dedicated for outdoor fitness equipment and two areas for children`s games. Green landscapes will stretch on an area of (38,250) square meters, adding aesthetic touches to the project and its surroundings.
Some sites will also be created to accommodate mobile activities such as restaurants, cafés and shops, which will be presented as investment opportunities for entrepreneurs.
