Municipality Introduces Etamid ePlatform to Visitors of Comex 2022




Muscat Municipality held a workshop in COMEX 2022 to introduce its new eplatform Etamid, which is an online service created to obtain a no objection certificate for excavation permits in Muscat Govenorate.
Etamid provides an advanced, spatially enabled and integrated digital system that simplifies the procedures for issuing NOC for drilling operations within Muscat Governorate, and created in partnership with relevant government and private entities, namely the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Housing and urban planning, Oman Telecommunications Company Omantel, Oman Qatar telecommunications company Ooredoo, Oman broadband company, Oman water and sewage services company(Haya+Diam), Oman Electricity Transmission Company and Muscat Electricity Distribution Company.
The platform is a new technical support for municipal and institutional work services, where work has been done to link and integrate electronic transactions services with the systems and databases of the relevant authorities.
