Decision Regulating the Property to Carry out Businesses of Women Beauty Salons
Muscat Municipality issued decision (28/2022) regulating businesses of hairdressing and women`s beauty salons and their requirements. The decision restricts the practice of these businesses to be held only in the ground and first floor of the property, and sets the health requirements prior to carrying out such activities, plus the specifications of the property.
In the same regard, Muscat Municipality calls on owners of these activities and those who are about to open similar activities to avoid preparing a property for such businesses in the upper floors of a building.
The municipality recommends that everyone is fully aware of the requirements stipulated in administrative decision no. (219/2019) prior to obtaining municipal licences; to avoid paying expenses for unauthorized sites.
