Municipal Slaughterhouses in Seeb and Amirat Ready for Eid
Muscat Municipality confirmed the readiness of its slaughterhouses to receive the sacrifices during Eid al-Adha days. The municipality has conducted comprehensive maintenance of electrical and mechanical devices, providing various other requirements, and verifying all health requirements to prepare sites, and preparing sacrifice slaughterhouses to ensure the provision of quality at work.
As for the working hours, the two slaughterers will work in the morning time from (7 – 11), starting from the tenth of tho al-Hijjah to the third day of Eid.
The slaughter of local goats and sheep (Omani), and the cows and camels of individuals will also be received from (10 tho al-Hijjah to the second day of Eid al-Adha). In the evening period (7 to 9 pm) and delivery on the same day.
The slaughter of pre-reserved livestock, shops and meat companies during the evening period will also be without the presence of individuals. Individuals wishing to obtain the sacrifices can go directly to the slaughterhouse sheds for booking from 6 am to 6 pm.
The Municipality of Muscat urges all institutions, charities, meat companies and shops wishing to slaughter in municipal slaughterhouses should communicate in advance with the company operating the slaughterhouses until the date of 8 tho al-Hijjah, as applications will not be accepted after 8 tho al-Hijjah.
It is worth mentioning that the slaughterhouses work will resume at the previous time (6-8 am) for companies, and from (8:00 am – 12:45 pm) for individuals starting from the fourth day of Eid 1443 AH.
