Muscat Efforts to Handle the Expected Weather Conditions
During these days, Muscat Municipality is intensifying its service efforts in various service, technical and health sectors in preparation to deal with the rainy weather situation that is expected to affect Muscat governorate during these days, by dedicating field teams and providing equipment to prepare rainwater drainage channels and water crossings in various areas of the province. Task forces from all service sectors; technical and project, health, hygiene, landscaping have been prepared for the expected conditions.
In light of the rainy conditions, Muscat municipality calls on all citizens and residents to take care and stay away from wadi streams, and low lands and beaches during the current period, and calls for the need to stay away from the water accumulations. Emphasizing these precautions, the Municipality urges all to call the Muscat Communications Centre (1111) or through the official social media available in the event of reports or observations concerning the safety of individuals.
