For Hygiene Failing: 133 kg of spoiled food in Bousher destroyed
Following consecutive hygiene inspections to food establishments, the inspection and Food Control division of Muscat Municipality in Bousher carried out (34) inspection visits, targeting all restaurants and cafés in the wilayah, resulting in the issuance of (16) violations and (16) notes, and the destruction of (133) kg of rotten food that was unfit for human consumption, and confiscation of (2016) pieces of cooking utensils.
Muscat Municipality hereby calls on all owners of food establishments to comply with the health requirements, as hygiene measures would significantly promote the public health and contribute to strengthening and raising consumer confidence.
