Intensive Clean-Up Removes 800 Tons of Waste from Bousher
With the participation of 100 determined workers, Muscat Municipality in Buosher transported about 44 consignments of waste weighing about 800 tons from the wilayah of Buosher after an intensive clean-up campaign that covered roads, public squares, plus sweeping internal streets, trimming trees and cleaning up the falajes and tourist sites.
The campaign was carried out in areas of al-Udhaiba, southern Ghabra, al-Qurum, Sultan Qaboos city and al-Ilam city, while the efforts are still ongoing to cover all areas of the wilayah. It is worth to mention that the initiative stems from the Muscat Municipality endeavour to promote public hygiene and to maintain the aesthetics of modern urban cities.
