Head of Muscat Municipality Views Mutrah Tourist Route through Virtual Reality

Together with the participation of HE. Azzan al-Busaidi, undersecretary of the Ministry of heritage and tourism for tourism, and Eng. Saeed al-Manthari, CEO of the Oman Telecommunications and Information Technology Group, HE. Ahmed Al Humaidi, chairman of Muscat Municipality, have reviewed Mutrah tourist route through virtual reality simulation technology at a dedicated stand in Muscat Municipality building.
Through the use of the latest two technologies in "Metaverse" and Scanner Camera, the initiative enabled the viewers to watch the prominent landmarks of Mutrah Tourist Route and tourist attractions located in it, and to form a preconceived idea of the route before visiting it on the ground when it is completed, as the Muscat Municipality has begun to initiate the operational stages of the Mutrah tourist route project.
