Muscat Nights 2023 Kicks Off Thursday Jan 19
Muscat Nights 2023 will kick off on January 19th and will continue until February 4th 2023, amid renewed events and activities designed to meet the aspirations of the public and serve various segments of society and visitors.
The opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, January 19th at the Buhaira Theater in Al Qurm natural park at 6:30 pm, patronized by His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, in the presence of HE. president of Muscat Municipality and a number of their excellencies, Sheikhs, representatives of entities and invitees.
President of Muscat Municipality expressed that Muscat nights will be launched to revive the economy and tourism and to create an outlet of entertainment and cultural communication for the public. The Muscat Nights events come with a variety of activities, to be offered according to new methods in performance and techniques, with programs covering cultural, entertainment, family, sports, artistic, nights, contests, and activities inspired by the taste of the community.
The events highlight the originality and cultural potential of the Oman, while giving the opportunity for small and medium enterprises to take part in the event. Muscat Nights.
The events will be held in four locations: Al Qurm Natural Park, Al Naseem public park, Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, and the Oman Automobile Association - all open daily to the public and visitors from 4 to 11 pm, while in weekends will last until 12 midnight, except for the Qurum Nature Park, which will close in weekends at 11:30 pm.
Entry fee has been set to 200 Baiza and is free for the people aged 12 years and under, and there will be a specific fee to enter the Muscat Nights event at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, and the fees are paid by automatic payment machines or electronic prebooking.
It is hoped that Muscat nights will be one of the outstanding social, cultural, sports and entertainment tourism events in Muscat Governorate, and a landmark for tourism attractions on the Arab and international map through a diverse and renewed package of events.
