Despite the vital role of birds as part of the ecosystem, it has recently been noticed a number of invasive birds that have negatively affected the local ecosystem and its biodiversity by some invasive birds, namely the House crow and Myna birds.
Invasive birds are one of the birds that are alien to our local environment, as they were brought by cargo ships and were also supplied as ornamental birds, and in many cases, the birds just moved from neighboring countries where such species of birds are widespread.

These birds have caused a clear disruption to the ecosystem, and created serious health and economic effects; due to the aggressive nature of this bird when competing for food and housing. They also made some damage to agricultural crops, attacking poultry, their young and eggs.
These birds also transmit a number of diseases such as avian influenza, salmonella bacteria, dermatitis, skin rashes and others, and also inflict damage on public properties.

Among the proposed methods to combat them are the placement of cages and baits by installing them in the places where they spread and nest, plus the use of poisons or narcotic substances on baits, monitoring the location of nests of these birds and their breeding places and getting rid of them first.
A layer of oil is also applied to the outer surface of the eggs or the egg hole, along with the use of firing with pneumatic weapons to get rid of these birds.

The municipality relies on the community to eliminate this bird, by closing garbage containers in various forms, whether in residential neighborhoods, beaches or parks, increasing the number of closed garbage containers in tourist and public sites, and developing laws or alternatives for citizens to reduce the phenomenon of dumping leftovers in the open spaces.
