Municipality Crowns Winners of The Muscat Nights Basketball Trios Tournament
Muscat Municipality and the Oman Basketball Federation crowned the winning teams in the Muscat nights trios basketball tournament. The Bel AB team was crowned with the title of the Muscat nights championship for men, while the Superstars team was crowned with the title of the women`s Championship. The tournament was held at the strike Sports Center at the Oman Automobile Association, organized by Muscat Municipality in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and youth.
The closing ceremony was held under the patronage of H. E. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Humaidi, head of Muscat Municipality and in the presence of engineer Khalfan bin Salih al-Naabi, president of the Oman Basketball Federation, Dr. Ali Bin Salam Al Yaarabi, vice president of the Federation, Dean Jamal Al Taie, vice president of the Oman Automobile Association, Sulaiman Al Rawahi, director of the association and a number of officials of the Basketball Federation.
After the conclusion of the competitions, H. E. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Humaidi crowned the winners of the men`s Championship, the Bel AB team was crowned with the Championship Cup and gold medals, the Jostis team was crowned with silver medals, and the SNB team received bronze medals.
In the women`s tournament, the Superstars team was crowned with the Championship Cup, gold medals, the AW team won silver medals and, and the Philippine team won bronze medals.
