Muscat Municipality Reveals "Mu`een" WhatsApp service in COMEX 2023
Muscat Municipality participates in the Information and Communication Technology Show (Comex 2023) which today Monday 22 and last to 25 May 2023. This show attempts to showcase its experience in supporting the digital transformation system and automating services for its beneficiaries.
The exhibition has witnessed a huge participation from various public and private entities, all revealing their e-services and achievements made in the field of technology. The entities shared their plans towards Oman`s Vision 2040.
Muscat Municipality showcased its new WhatsApp service called "Mu`een" which is a trial version of the "WhatsApp platform designed to facilitate and provide a new means of communication between beneficiaries and the municipality, in addition to simplifying procedures and targeting citizens and residents. This platform is characterized by the presence of an automated response feature and includes 5 services, including providing pest control reports, renewing building permits, registering companies, in addition to requesting the cancellation of a parking ticket, and a report related to electronic services.
