As part of its efforts to preserve the environment, Muscat Municipality carried out a cleanup campaign in Seeb beach in cooperation with the Seeb volunteer team and with the participation of a number of community members.
The campaign, which covered Seeb beach in the southern al-Hail area, included cleaning the beach and the sandy areas along the beach and some water channels. The campaign aimed at consolidating the community partnership between the municipality and the community, spreading awareness and culture of the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the city, and contributing to enhancing social responsibility towards maintaining the cleanliness of the city.
Furthermore, to enhance the responsibility of individuals towards preserving their local environment, and raise the level of thought and environmental awareness among various individuals and segments of society.
