Muscat Municipality Takes Part in U20 Mayoral Summit in India
Muscat Municipality participated in the U20 Mayoral Summit in India held in Ahmedabad, India, from 7 to 8 July 2023 to discuss issues related to the global economy, climate and development. Eng At`Tayib Al Harthy, manager of Muscat Municipality in Qurayyat, represented Muscat Municipality in this summit.
The summit of Mayors is an initiative that deals mainly with the urban problems of cities, and includes cities from the member countries of the group of twenty, other cities are also hosted outside the cluster system to expand public benefit, localize communication for the urban community.
The Muscat Municipality participation reflects the municipal interest to benefit from international experiences and knowledge in order to enhance national efforts and endeavors aimed at achieving sustainable development according to national pillars.
