Muscat Municipality officially inaugurates the electronic documents system

In an attempt to shift into an electronic system of correspondence, Muscat Municipality has officially inaugurated its e-system of documents and correspondence.
Staff of Muscat Municipality will be able now to create and review the correspondence system electronically, it be approved with an electronic certification service provided by the National Center for electronic certification in Information Technology Authority.
H.E Mohsin ashSheikh said that the new system has been assigned to a company that holds a certificate of compatibility with the guide of the the national records and Archives authority.
H.E added that the system will be used gradually until finally no paper document will be used, and that the system is a result of great effort made by a cadre from Muscat Municipality and magnificent cooperation with the National authority of documents and archives plus the Information Technology authority.
